House of Prayers
Our Purpose
The House of Prayers program exists to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals experiencing homelessness can feel seen, heard, and valued. It supports personal growth, self-determination, and long-term stability by combining individualized life coaching with access to essential resources, helping clients rebuild confidence, clarify goals, and achieve sustainable progress toward housing and overall well-being.
Who We Serve
The program is designed to serve people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, particularly those who have faced trauma, isolation, and the emotional and practical challenges associated with prolonged instability.
The Problem We Are Addressing
House of Prayers addresses the lack of individualized, empathetic support for people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome trauma, isolation, and invisibility while bridging gaps in access to critical resources. It meets the need for structured, client-led guidance to achieve stability, personal growth, and sustainable life changes, which includes housing.
How We Work
We offer each client a dedicated life coach. Together we develop a life plan with short- and long-term goals. We provide emotional support and active listening, and facilitate access to essential resources. We communicate constantly and reflect on and celebrate progress, which helps us plan across a six-month or 20-session framework.
Our Goals
We want to empower clients to take charge of their growth, rebuild confidence, and achieve measurable progress toward personal, emotional, and spiritual goals. It seeks to connect clients with necessary resources. When we succeed, our clients emerge with a sense of self-determination, having made changes to their lives and secured permanent housing. They have a plan for growth.
Women of God Matrix
Women of God Matrix is a network of diverse women who support one another while drawing closer to God. These women are united by their desire to learn more about God and deepen their intimacy with Him, discovering their identities and purpose in Him. Women of God Matrix creates a healing space for women to support, encourage, and mentor each other, nurturing spiritual growth and women’s empowerment.
